The Ratchet League was founded on a simple principle: golf is better with friends, worse scores, and no dress code. We are a community of golfers — and we use that term loosely — who gather regularly to embarrass ourselves on the finest municipal courses the region has to offer. Whether you're a scratch golfer who's lost their way or a triple-bogey machine who's found their people, you belong here.
The Golf
We play real golf on real courses. The rules are mostly real. Mulligans are a gentleman's agreement and handicaps are negotiated over drinks.
The Brotherhood
Once you're in the League, you're family. The kind of family that bets against you and then drives your cart into the rough, but family nonetheless.
The Glory
Two major tournaments a year. Trophies. Bragging rights that last until the next season. Legends are made and lost on these fairways.
The Code
We have bylaws. Actual bylaws. Written down and everything. We take the governance of recreational golf very seriously around here.
